RE: Lotus Notes native 64bit on Vista

Only Domino servers are supported on 64-bit I believe.

Accept the default installation path and Notes 8.0.2 will run quite fine, but rather use a Multi User install to save messing around with UAC and permissions for Notes data under Program Files. With Notes data below the user home folder, you can use Notes Roaming for user data backup, but the path will be longer than 260 characters so you will not be able to roam the "workspace" folder using login scripts.

I have to use 64-bit for my work to get the RAM for VMs so I have no choice really.

Some plugins will not install on 64-bit, like Quickr Connectors, but since I mainly use Ubuntu I am used to not having the Connectors in Notes.
